On Thursday, 25 August 2016, in the afternoon at 11:32, in Telšių district municipality, on S. Daukanto street near No. 18, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Aprilia RS 50, a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Passat. Two people were injured — the 17-year-old driver of the Aprilia (hospitalized) and a 15-year-old passenger of the Aprilia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Aprilia, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.12‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
