On Friday, 2 September 2016, in the afternoon at 16:04, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street near No. 140, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH12, a Ford S-MAX and a Krone SD. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volvo (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
