On Friday, 2 September 2016, in the evening at 18:26, in Vilnius, on Jeruzalės street, at the junction with Braškių street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris and a Yamaha. Two people were injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient) and a 15-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 73-year-old driver of the Toyota (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
