On Thursday, 8 September 2016, in the evening at around 20:00, in Klaipėda, on Liubeko street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.33‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. The 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen was drunk.
