On Sunday, 11 September 2016, at night at 4:37, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 3, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a BMW 730 d. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.82‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
