On Sunday, 11 September 2016, in the evening at 17:56, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Derceklių village, on Nidos street near No. 1, a collision with one vehicle turning left and the other right occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
