On Saturday, 17 September 2016, at night at 3:16, in Vilniaus district municipality, Užubalių village, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 13), a Mitsubishi Outlander registered in Russia hit an animal. Two people were injured — the 44-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient) and a passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (16 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
