On Sunday, 18 September 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 98, a Kawasaki ZX 600 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 44-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway in a built-up area outside a crossing where there is a median strip. He was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol).
