On Wednesday, 21 September 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Biržai–Pandėlys–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 64.50), on a bridge, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
