On Thursday, 22 September 2016, in the afternoon at 13:17, in Raseinių district municipality, Kasbaraičių village, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 33.99), a collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
