On Monday, 26 September 2016, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl. near No. 19, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence.
