On Sunday, 2 October 2016, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Varnių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda Premacy and a Nissan QASHQAI+2. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Mazda (38 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
