On Wednesday, 5 October 2016, in the evening at 18:25, in Alytus, on Naujoji street, at the junction with Jazminų street, a Nissan Almera hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Nissan (16 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed.
