On Friday, 7 October 2016, at night at 0:50, in Vilnius, on T. Narbuto street, at the junction with Konstitucijos pr., an Audi A4 registered in Ireland ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
