On Sunday, 16 October 2016, in the evening at 19:30, in Marijampolės municipality, on Kauno street near No. 39, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a Volkswagen Golf and a Seat Altea. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober.
