On Thursday, 20 October 2016, in the evening at 18:50, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 162.90), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda, a Volkswagen Passat and a Rydwan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Skoda (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
