On Wednesday, 26 October 2016, in the evening at 19:50, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Molėtai–Kaltanėnai–Ignalina national road (kilometre 11.55), a Renault Espace rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Renault (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
