On Friday, 28 October 2016, in the evening at 19:43, in Tauragės district municipality, on J. Tumo-Vaižganto street, at the junction with Bernotiškės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a Chrysler Sebring. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk and had no driving licence.
