On Friday, 4 November 2016, in the evening at 19:26, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 13), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. One person was injured — a 40-year-old passenger of the Lexus (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Lexus (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (0.87‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
