On Thursday, 10 November 2016, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 56, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Multipla and an Opel Omega. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Fiat (33 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
