On Friday, 11 November 2016, in the morning at 7:30, in Kaunas, on Draugystės street near No. 4, in a yard, a collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Honda Jazz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the BMW (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.12‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
