On Saturday, 12 November 2016, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Vilnius, on Medeinos street near No. 23, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a MAN and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the MAN (23 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
