On Thursday, 17 November 2016, in the morning at 7:07, in Tauragės district municipality, on Pramonės street near No. 1, at the junction with Gedimino street, a Scania R 124 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Scania (20 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
