On Friday, 18 November 2016, in the morning at 8:15, in Vilnius, on S. Konarskio street, at the junction with V. Pietario street, a Jeep Grand Cherokee hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 61-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Jeep (8 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to fulfil pedestrian duties.
