On Wednesday, 23 November 2016, in the afternoon at 13:45, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 13.50), an Opel Vectra-B hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
