On Friday, 25 November 2016, at night at 23:01, in Vilnius, on Naugarduko street near No. 50, a Rover 214 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Rover, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.46‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
