On Tuesday, 29 November 2016, in the afternoon at 15:15, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with P. Lukšio street, a Volvo S80 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 54-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Volvo (40 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
