On Thursday, 1 December 2016, in the evening at 20:30, in Kauno district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 134, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 D and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
