On Friday, 2 December 2016, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Didžialaukio village, on Šumsko pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70, a Fiat Ducato, a Mercedes-Benz and a Ford Fiesta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
