On Tuesday, 13 December 2016, at night at 0:32, in Jonavos district municipality, Liepių village, on the Jonava–Liepiai–Pasraučiai national road (kilometre 11.23), a Renault Megane ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Renault (36 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene.
