On Wednesday, 14 December 2016, in the evening at 17:06, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz CL420 and a Ssang Yong Rexton. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (32 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
