On Friday, 16 December 2016, in the afternoon at 15:50, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 74.70), a DAF FT XF105.460 registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the DAF (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.55‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
