On Friday, 16 December 2016, in the evening at 19:45, in Panevėžys, on J. Basanavičiaus street, at the junction with Vilniaus street, a Peugeot 406 registered in France hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
