On Sunday, 18 December 2016, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Pašilės street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
