On Monday, 19 December 2016, in the evening at 18:20, in Kėdainių district municipality, on Josvainių street, at the junction with S. Jaugelio Telegos street, an Opel Corsa hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 40-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
