On Saturday, 24 December 2016, in the evening at 20:54, in Vilnius, on Parko street near No. 38, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Citroen Xantia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
