On Sunday, 25 December 2016, at night at around 2:00, in Zarasų district municipality, Dusetų settlement, on Nepriklausomybės street near No. 8, a Renault Megane hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene.
