On Thursday, 29 December 2016, at night at 1:50, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 95, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Audi 100 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 30-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Audi (26 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He was drunk (2.88‰ blood alcohol).
