On Thursday, 5 January 2017, in the afternoon at 15:04, in Vilnius, on Žalgirio street, at the junction with Giedraičių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FL6 and a Ford Transit. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volvo (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
