On Thursday, 5 January 2017, in the evening at 19:21, in Biržų district municipality, on the Parovėja–Medeikiai–Nemunėlio Radviliškis regional road (kilometre 1.15), an Audi A4 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 55-year-old pedestrian, who was walking on the carriageway where prohibited. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
