On Tuesday, 10 January 2017, in the morning at around 8:00, in Klaipėda, on Mokyklos street near No. 33, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Magnum 480, an Opel Zafira, a Volkswagen Passat, a Schmitz SCS 24/L, a Volkswagen Golf, a Renault Megane, an Opel Sintra, a Volkswagen Golf, an Audi A4, a Dacia registered in Ukraine and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Renault Magnum 480 (30 years of driving experience), who violated stopping or parking rules. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
