On Wednesday, 18 January 2017, in the evening at 19:13, in Kaunas, on Bijūnų street near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Peugeot 407. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy.
