On Sunday, 22 January 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Žirnių street, at the junction with Dariaus ir Girėno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volvo (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.50‰ blood alcohol).
