On Friday, 27 January 2017, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street, at the junction with Radvilėnų pl., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW Serie 5 and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
