On Saturday, 28 January 2017, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on Kauno street near No. 4, a Chrysler Voyager hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 65-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Chrysler (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
