Drunk Volkswagen driver in crash with Nissan on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus road
On Sunday, 29 January 2017, in the evening at 18:10, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 53.75), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Nissan Micra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
