On Sunday, 12 February 2017, in the evening at 20:10, in Klaipėda, on Priestočio street near No. 30, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and a Hyundai Getz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
