On Friday, 17 February 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Gedimino street, at the junction with Miško street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volvo V60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (8 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
