On Monday, 20 February 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr., at the junction with Geležinkelio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Opel (21 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
