On Saturday, 25 February 2017, in the evening at 18:32, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Vilniaus street near No. 35, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Volkswagen Transporter registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW, who violated overtaking rules. He was drunk (2.35‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 21-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (3.25‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
